Loading Image Sequence Maya 2025 – I am currently using maya 2020. If you ever got this message, which i did, it is very frustrating. As any image from the sequence can be applied manually as a texture to a plane, i'm wondering if there is some compatibility issue between boujou and maya. I have converted it to a tiff file format aswell.

I found the problem, it was the long name of the image sequence. I have made a caustic sequence pattern for my animation using the free caustics generator that is found on the . I've attached the first few.tif files. It allows you to easily choose either a video or image sequence.

Hello everyone, first time poster here, i'm having a huge issue with importing video reference into maya. I've imported.mov,.avi, and even tried to set it as an image sequence and nothing is working. I'm using boujou 5.2 (i think) and maya 2010 64 bit.

Image plane loader automates the sometimes confusing process of importing reference footage to an image plane in maya. But when i add the file sequence to a texture, say a simple lambert then i get this message when i turn on the use image sequence button: The image plane on my end appears to just be one singular line in the middle of the grid, no image/video appears.i would appreciate some help!

I was thankfully able to figure it out, and i would like to see if this method will work f. Hi, i am unable to import an image sequence or movie into an image plane or a regular plane. If a video is selected, the video is converted to an image sequence for greater performance.
